Sean Reis loves his job. Despite his young face, Sean has been practicing law for over twenty years. Ever since he opened his own firm, he hasn’t looked back.
Not only do I have the privilege to help seriously injured people, but I get to represent my clients my way. I don’t have a boss pressuring me to settle for less. Nobody pushes me to compromise my ethics. I never take more cases than I can handle. My focus is entirely on my clients.
Mr. Reis is a former “big firm” lawyer. Prior to striking out on his own, he practiced at several large firms including a prominent international law firm in Los Angeles and a premier California firm in Orange County. Now, his sole focus is on helping catastrophic injury victims. He gets to battle the big insurance companies that he used to represent as a “big firm” lawyer.
Over his 20+ year career as a lawyer, Sean has handled hundreds of clients with a variety of legal problems. Not only has he successfully recovered millions of dollars for his clients (which he doesn’t brag about like most injury lawyers), but he has numerous trial victories and successful appellate decisions under his belt.
Personal injury lawyers up and down the state are very flashy. You will not find that in me. One of my favorite sayings comes from Teddy Rosevelt – “Walk softly but carry a big stick.”
Sean Reis attended Rutgers University School of Law. He served as an Editor of the Rutgers Law Review. He was awarded the Nathan D. Schildkraut Graduation Award for Appellate Advocacy and was chosen to teach Legal Research and Writing to incoming first-year law students. Prior to law, Mr. Reis graduated from the University of California at San Diego, where he earned a degree in Quantitative Economics.
Mr. Reis comes from humble beginnings. Now, a married man with several children and a thriving law practice, he is grateful for each case. Despite his reputation as an aggressive trial attorney, Sean is a fun-loving husband and father who coaches soccer, plays card games, and travels when he can.
